Photography has been a dream of mine since high school, and one of my favorite parts is helping people see the smile that God gave them. I love being able to capture what I see through my camera; whether it’s the joy between a couple on their wedding day or the sweet chaos of a family session, and turn it into a still moment that reflects both the beauty and the emotion of that time. I get to freeze what I saw and felt in that moment, and give it back to them as a memory they can hold onto forever.
Nursing has always been something I’ve felt called to. I’ve just always had a heart for helping people, especially when they’re going through really tough times. Being able to show up, offer comfort, and love people well in those vulnerable moments is something that means a lot to me. It’s not always easy, but I truly believe it’s one of the ways I get to share the love of Jesus in a real and personal way.
I have the joy of serving at Kids Church as a puppet named Sally; she’s loud, full of energy, and always has something to say! Playing Sally is one of my favorite ways to serve because it allows me to share the love of Jesus with elementary-aged kids in a fun and creative way. Whether it's through silly skits or heartfelt lessons, getting to be part of their faith journey in such a unique role is something I truly treasure.
I also have the privilege of serving on the worship team, where I get to help lead our congregation in worship. It’s one of my favorite things to do because it’s an overflow of my personal time with the Lord. What I experience in quiet moments with Him during the week pours out on Sunday mornings as I help create an atmosphere where others can encounter His presence too.
